Crickets Kennedy Bridge Rehab Work

The I-65 Kennedy Bridge, which connects Louisville, Kentucky with Jeffersonville, Indiana, is being closed (effective January 19, 2016), so it can be re-decked. This video shows footage of the construction work. This work is part of the Louisville-Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges Project with involved building two new bridges, one adjacent to the Kennedy Bridge. When the Kennedy reopens in the summer of 2016, it will carry only southbound traffic on I-65. The new Lincoln Bridge will eventually carry only northbound I-65 traffic.
