In a decade-long career, Indian cricket team captain and among the world's best batsmen, Virat Kohli has breached the 1000-run mark in a calendar year in ODIs on five occasions. The 28-year-old Virat Kohli's sensational run of form and performances, India have won seven successive ODI series since June 2016. The world's most destructive limited-overs batsman, Kohli has scored nine of his 32 hundreds over the last two years and no other batsman has scored more hundreds than Kohli since 2013. In the One Day Internationals, the "Run Machine" Kohli is now only behind Sachin Tendulkar's 49 centuries. Virat has scored the fastest ODI century by an Indian batsman when he achieved the milestone in 52 balls against Australia in 2013. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) superstar, Kohli is also the fastest to score 8000 & 9000 runs in ODIs in 175 innings and 194 innings respectively. The fiery Delhiite has the highest average among the batsmen who have captained their side for more than 30 ODIs and involved in ten 200-runs partnerships in ODIs, most by any player. As captain, Virat Kohli winning percentage of 78.57 – 33 wins, nine losses and a no-result game out of 43 contested in ODIs. Virat’s consistency with the bat, ranked eighth in ESPN's list of world's most famous athletes in 2016.
