Welcome to my NCAA 14 Hofstra Pride Dynasty!!! After years of resistance, I decided to try my hand with an NCAA dynasty, and what better school to choose than the one I attended, Hofstra University!! Hofstra disbanded their football program in 2009 so they could use the funding for a medical school, but thanks to former NFL WRs Wayne Chrebet Sr. and Marques Colston (two Hofstra Alumni), the program has been revived starting with the 2017 season!! To help lift the program up, Wayne Chrebet Jr, and redshirt senior, transferred to Hofstra from Rutgers for the inaugural season (was given permission to play by the NCAA). While the program may be back, it not only has a new look, but will have to overcome tremendous obstacles. The current team is walk ons, and Chrebet Jr., as no one attending Hofstra are there because of the football program, yet. So, we have a clean slate, and a long way to go in the building process. Andre Russu (age 28) will be coaching at the collegiate level for the first time. With limited TV exposure, not playing in any conference, and a roster full of walk ons, coach Russu will have his hands full Turning Rocks Into Diamonds.
