England finished day one of the first Ashes Test at 196-4 after a tight affair at the Gabba. Alastair Cook was caught in the day's third over but Mark Stoneman and James Vince dug in for the tourists and partnered for 125 before being dismissed. Captain Joe Root then fell for 15 late on after review
