India skipper Rohit Sharma slammed the joint-fastest Twenty20 international century off just 35 deliveries to propel his team to a massive 260/5 in the second match against Sri Lanka on Friday. Here are the records created by Rohit in his innings of 43-ball 118. Rohit Sharma blasted the joint-fastest 100 in Twenty20 Internationals off 35 balls while KL Rahul blasted 89 as India notched up 260/5, their highest score in Twenty20 Internationals. Rohit became the third player after Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum to hit two centuries in this format. The partnership of 165 between Rohit and Rahul is the best for India in the shortest format. Out of 12 T20 internationals this year, India have won eight, lost three while one was a washout against Australia at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi international stadium.
